Textiles to be studied include 14th- and 15th-century opus anglicanum embroideries; velvet, damask and cloth of gold vestments; a 16th-century embroidered man’s cap alleged to have belonged to Thomas More; embroideries that have been cut from their original garments or added to later vestments; the Mary Queen of Scots Prayer Book and more.

Registration is limited to 20 people. MEDATS members can register via the link in the email that will be sent this week. Registration will open to non-members on 1 March 2024. All prices include lunch and refreshments.
